Bikes on the Bus

The JO offers you the opportunity to ride your bicycle to and from a JO stop. All JO vehicles are equipped with a bike rack. The bike racks hold two bikes which you must load and unload. Now you can get in shape while you ride
The JO!

The JO also provides bike racks to secure your bike at several designated stops and park & ride locations. You can ride your bike to the stop and lock it up using your own lock or take it with you on the bus. Then in the evening, ride your bike home from the stop. >>more info

Disabled Access

disabled accessAll vehicles are equipped with wheelchair lifts to accommodate our disabled commuters. Many will also lower at the curbside so riders don't have to step quite so high to get onto the bus.

Guaranteed Ride

rideThe Mid-America Regional Council provides a Guaranteed Ride Home to registered carpoolers, vanpoolers, Johnson County Transit riders and bicyclists. Participants are allowed 2 free rides home from work per year in the event of an emergency. Registration is required. To receive more information and register, call 816-842-RIDE(7433) or go to MARC's web site.
