Passengers are eligible for one JO transfer. Please see The JO Transfer Policy.

Flaggin Policy: The bus will stop on a hand signal anywhere along the route within Johnson County. The driver will need a safe place to stop - please avoid right turn lanes.

Johnson County Transit’s Local Links are community based services providing transportation options for accessing employment, civic, and other life enhancing venues. You are encouraged to call 913-397-7300 to schedule curb-to-curb pick-up & drop-off times not listed on the schedule. See the Route Map & Info PDF on the schedule page for more details. All routes are $1.00 per ride.

  • 810 De Soto FlexRide, with service into Shawnee on Tuesdays and Olathe on Wednesdays.
  • 812 Route J is a midday service around Downtown Overland Park.
  • 814-815 Shawnee CityRide is no longer in service, please contact the City of Shawnee.
  • 816 Spring Hill Shuttle, with trips to the Gardner Wal-Mart on Tuesdays and to the Olathe Target and the Great Mall of the Great Plains on Fridays.

With expanded transit in Johnson County as envisioned in JCT’s Strategic Plan, Local Links will also provide connections to intra-county and regional transit routes.

In addition to the four transfer centers listed, The JO provides links to the KC Metro and Lawrence T services. Please refer to timetables on their Web site. All three services are published on Google Trip Planner. Transfers to KC Metro and KCK Bus are free. Transfers to Lawrence services are an additional charge.
