Passengers are eligible for one JO transfer. Please see The JO Transfer Policy.

Children 12 years of age and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Riders may board the bus anywhere along the designated route. The bus will stop on a hand signal anywhere along the route within Johnson County. The driver will need a safe place to stop - please avoid right turn lanes.

Johnson County Transit’s Local Links are community based services providing transportation options for accessing employment, civic, and other life enhancing venues. You are encouraged to call 397-7300 to schedule at-your-doorstep pick-up & drop-off times not listed on the schedule. See the Route Map & Info PDF on the schedule page for more details. All rides are $1 per trip.

  • De Soto FlexRide, with service into Shawnee on Tuesdays and Olathe on Wednesdays.
  • EasyRide within the Northeast Johnson County cities of Fairway, Merriam, Mission, and Roeland Park. Buses run Monday – Friday, from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

  • Route J is a midday service around Downtown Overland Park.
  • Route K provides service throughout Olathe on three different loops. This service does not deviate from the schedule, no call-in scheduling.
  • Shawnee CityRide provides service to popular destinations within Shawnee via two loops on Tuesdays and Fridays.
  • Spring Hill Shuttle, with trips to the Gardner Wal-Mart on Tuesdays and to the Olathe Target and the Great Mall of the Great Plains on Fridays.

Wth expanded transit in Johnson County as envisioned in JCT’s Strategic Plan, Local Links will also provide connections to intra-county and regional transit routes.
